Note: If you have a
Windows site with the Plesk control panel you can follow the instructions
below to enable SmarterStats on your site. If your subscription has the word
"Legacy" in it, you don't have the Plesk control panel and must
contact us to get this set up.
To get Help with SmarterStats
To enable SmarterStats on
your site (read note above):
-
Log in to the
Control Panel
-
Click the System tab (choose
a different subscription, if necessary)
-
Click Setup
-
Scroll down, find the
statistics line and change it to "SmarterStats"
-
Wait a few minutes for SmarterStats to read your log files
SmarterStats can only use the
log files that are present on the server for your site. Plesk may have
deleted older log files.
To log in to SmarterStats:
As an example, we will assume
you have a site named www.mysite.com
-
Go to
http://www.mysite.com/plesk-stat/webstat/
-
You will see a blue screen
in which you must enter 3 pieces of information:
-
Site ID: this is the domain
name without the www, in this case: mysite.com
-
Username: this is the
username you use for FrontPage
-
Password: this is the
password for the web site. Usually it is your FrontPage password
-
Click Login
Here's a screenshot that should
make it clearer:
