Want to register a domain, but not ready to create a web site yet? We can hold your domain for you until you're ready to go live. There are two options...

• Free Parking - this is just a free service that ensures your new domain points to a parking page. The page is this: http://park.cartama.net and can't be changed (that would be hosting). To do this register your domain (or see below), set the domain's DNS information to ns1.cartama.net and ns2.cartama.net, then tell us the domain name so we can configure it in the DNS servers.

• We can register the domain for you. Choose from .com, .net, .org, .nu, .co.uk, .tv, .cc and many others. The exact price depends on the registry service (since prices vary). More details on the Domain Registration page.

Parking is free, but if you need an e-mail address we can provide a mailbox, with web and POP3 access, for only $5.00 per month. Go here for more details.

Domain names can generally be up to 23 characters long (sometimes longer), comprised of characters a-z, 0-9 and '-'. Spaces are not permitted, dashes cannot be the first or last character, and upper and lower cases are treated as the same.
